"Thor's Well"

Yachats, OR - Thor's Well is a large hole, carved in rock, on the Oregon coast. Much of the time, this hole is just an empty chasm, but during the right tide, waves crash over the rocks and create this faux coastal waterfall. After several months of research, I finally found a day when the correct tide would correspond with sunset. A friend and I drove out to this location, and I wanted to get closer to Thor's Well than I felt comfortable. We tied rope to several rocks, and used climbing harnesses to secure ourselves, so that we could stand right on the edge of this chasm without fear of being swept in. All the conditions were perfect, and we got this perspective of leaning over the well.

Fine Art Paper Prints: All of our fine art paper prints are printed onto a Moab Entrada Museum Rag paper. This paper is a thick fine art paper with a matte finish, that allows for exceptional detail, and fade resistance. These prints come rolled in a tube, and will require additional framing.
