Mount Rainier rises over 14,000ft above sea level, and stands as an icon overlooking the greater Seattle area. Rainier is the most glaciated mountain in the lower 48 states, and remains one of the most wildflower rich areas in the world. Mt Rainier is home to several hundred varieties of wildflowers and over 65 mammal, making this National Park one of the most beautiful and wild places in the United States. 

I grew up three hours from Mt Rainier National Park, and it was one of the first places I learned to photograph. I feel incredible lucky to have grown up so close to this icon of the Pacific Northwest.
