"Wild Iceland"
Iceland- Iceland is a uniquely beautiful place. One of the most memorable experiences we had on our short trip there, was meeting a man named Hörður, who also went by “Mr. Iceland”. He is one of the few farmers in the country, and the only farmer in Iceland growing garlic. The harsh weather creates pretty unideal growing conditions for crops, and because of this almost all of Icelands fresh food is imported. The fierce cold and wind slow the growing season considerably, creating an environment where garlic takes up to 12 months to ripen. This long ripening period creates especially strongly flavored garlic, and creates a huge demand for his crop. He has a one hundred acre farm in southern Iceland, including a private black sand beach, rolling hills, and wild horses that frequent his land.
Chromaluxe Metal Prints: These prints represent a new medium in photographic printing. Using a specialty process, we sublimate ink directly into a sheet of light reflective Chromaluxe aluminum. Due to the luminescence of the metal surface, the finished product has a brightness, vibrancy, and a clarity to it that cannot be rivaled with any other printing technique. Chromaluxe prints are so luminous, that they almost appear backlit. In addition to the striking finish, metal prints are guaranteed to last for a century without noticeable fading, are scratch resistant, waterproof, and all come with sleek aluminum hanging hardware on the back of the print for seamless hanging. The final piece will hang an inch and a half away from the wall. Chromaluxe prints represent the best quality prints in the industry and are the perfect modern art piece for any home.
Fine Art Paper Prints: All of our fine art paper prints are printed onto a Moab Entrada Museum Rag paper. This paper is a thick fine art paper with a matte finish, that allows for exceptional detail, and fade resistance. These prints come rolled in a tube, and will require additional framing.
