"Cosmic Eruption"
Mount Saint Helens, Washington- Its become a summer tradition to head up to Mount Saint Helens every year and lay under the stars for the better portion of the night. The stars have always fascinated me, and its incredible the amount of detail you are able to capture with a 25 second exposure. Currently my favorite thing in the night sky is the "Dark Horse Nebula," anyone see it? The outline of a horse is visible just to the right of the core of the Milky Way. Ever since someone pointed that out to me I cant help but see it in the night sky. From this position, the light pollution of Portland can be seen off to the right. Light pollution usually isn't great for night sky photography but occasionally I really enjoy the sunset-like glow it adds along the horizon.
Chromaluxe Metal Prints: These prints represent a new medium in photographic printing. Using a specialty process, we sublimate ink directly into a sheet of light reflective Chromaluxe aluminum. Due to the luminescence of the metal surface, the finished product has a brightness, vibrancy, and a clarity to it that cannot be rivaled with any other printing technique. Chromaluxe prints are so luminous, that they almost appear backlit. In addition to the striking finish, metal prints are guaranteed to last for a century without noticeable fading, are scratch resistant, waterproof, and all come with sleek aluminum hanging hardware on the back of the print for seamless hanging. The final piece will hang an inch and a half away from the wall. Chromaluxe prints represent the best quality prints in the industry and are the perfect modern art piece for any home.
Fine Art Paper Prints: All of our fine art paper prints are printed onto a Moab Entrada Museum Rag paper. This paper is a thick fine art paper with a matte finish, that allows for exceptional detail, and fade resistance. These prints come rolled in a tube, and will require additional framing.
